I was looking at the chart for this hat and noticed a slight problem -- the legend shows symbols for 4 stitches but the chart has five symbols. The symbol not included in the legend is the vertical line and it occurs on lines 12 and 24 of the pattern. I was also wondering about the repeat sequence per row. The pattern is based on 24 stitches. Four times this is 96 stitches but the instructions have 112 stitches. How is this going to work out?
